FormFlow — AI Government Form Assistant

KiroHacks Cal Poly

  • Built an AI-assisted web app with Next.js and TypeScript that lets users upload government PDFs, explain their situation in natural language, and receive guided form-filling support.
  • Implemented PDF upload/rendering, multilingual intake flow, state management, form validation, and test coverage using React, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, react-pdf, Zustand, Zod, OpenAI APIs, and Vitest.
  • Prototyped CalFresh SAWS 2 PLUS support for underserved communities, caregivers, immigrant applicants, and case workers.

Aura Farm — Campus Social Wellness Game

CodeBox

  • Developed front-end and product features for a campus social wellness game where students complete real-world challenges, submit photo proof, earn aura points, and rank on leaderboards.
  • Built challenge feeds, profile/tier displays, post history, friend rankings, leaderboards, and moderated challenge submission flows for Cal Poly users.
  • Collaborated with a student developer team and faculty support to prepare deployment.

Experience

Associate Director of Projects — CS+AI Cal Poly

San Luis Obispo, CA

  • Support the Director of Projects in delivering 4–5 student AI/ML projects across the academic year, from summer project selection through final demo day.
  • Coordinate project lead recruitment, member selection, team assignment, milestone tracking, and biweekly lead check-ins to keep teams unblocked.
  • Partner with club officers to launch larger technical events including Kaggle competitions, hackathons, workshops, and project showcases.

Developer — CodeBox (Cal Poly Student Developer Club)

  • Build production-oriented web, mobile, and AI/ML projects with a student developer team, contributing 3–5 hours per week.
